Hybrid event for product stewardship in crop biotech slated for October

ISAAA Inc., in partnership with the Department of Agriculture’s Biotech Program, will hold a multi-stakeholder forum titled Responsible Innovation: Ensuring Product Stewardship in Crop Biotech on October 8, 2024. This hybrid event will take place from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM at Vivere Hotel, Alabang, with Zoom registration available for online participants.
The forum will focus on the importance of product stewardship for regulatory compliance and sustainable use of biotech products. Key discussion topics include:
Speakers include experts from the Bureau of Plant Industry, Philippine Fiber Industry Development Authority, and University of the Philippines Los Baños, along with representatives from CropLife Asia and biotech farmers. The event will be moderated by Panfilo de Guzman of ISAAA Inc.
