ISAAA Inc., in partnership with the DA Biotech Program, will host a free webinar on Global and Local Perspectives on the Regulatory Frameworks for New Breeding Techniques in Crops on March 6, 2025, via Zoom. Registration is now open.
The webinar will cover biosafety regulations and policies for New Breeding Techniques (NBTs) in crop improvement, discussing challenges, policy directions, and the need for harmonized regulations. Topics include NBT regulations in the Philippines and global perspectives on gene-edited crops.
Speakers include Ms. Ma. Lorelie U. Agbagala from DOST and Dr. Michael Jones from Murdoch University.
